A 2011 328i X-Drive. It’s manual, it’s comforable, quick, and it’ll dance if you hold down that DTC button for 5 seconds, It’s too good for me. Currently at the credit union.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
That is not a word I would use to describe an E9x 328i. Source: I have one.

Your other car may be biasing you a bit there. :)
The 328 isn’t a race car, but they’re quick enough especially with the manual.

Everything is relative man. Sure it’s slow compared to your M3, but it’s at least as fast as my VR-4. And way faster than my wife’s Fit.

Maybe. I will say, my 128i felt quick, my 328i does not.

I had a 128i before and would describe it as quick, this just doesn’t feel as quick. I don’t know what it is.

Yeah, my Galant Feels, A LOT faster, between the old school turbo, the sound and the lack of sound deadening, it’s just more raw. But I know the 328 is just as fast, and still fun in the snow

So let me get this straight, you’re selling your VR-4 because you want something reliable, so now you’re looking at used BMW’s?
something seems wrong here

Yes join the E9X group... Be sure to come to our meetings on Thursdays where we discuss what the mystical left stalk behind the wheel might do.

The blinker return thing is weird, gonna take some getting used to.

I want something that isn’t on the edge of blowing up and killing me.

Due to scientific studies and because one wouldn’t leave me the fuck alone, I’ve discovered that E90 328i’s are significantly slower than my FiST on the highway... They aren’t fast.

haha - any car pestering you like that deserves to get smoked, I’ll say that!

I was on the interstate, and they kept blocking me from passing a slow driver in the right lane. They kept trying to race, but traffic was heavy so I just behaved. Well, traffic cleared, they honked, and I gave them more than they wanted. When I let off, I put up a bus length. I’m not stock, but I’m not even fully bolt on.

Stereotypical BMW driver then?
And yes, I own a BMW (that’s slower than an E9X 328)

to be fair, this is an post LCI 3-series (i think that’s the wording? basically the refreshed) so they’re supposed to be better. here’s to many miles of no explosions or death and to many smiles!

11,000 miles in and all it’s needed is Spark plugs.

Now 2.5 years and 23,000 miles later.
It’s been pretty reliable. Only one major problem. A bad computer. That caused the windows, blinkers, and a few other things to stop working for awhile Which was a 200 dollar repair.

If I recall, that was just from a hitch receiver wiring problem right? Overall, not bad!
